The Flow State of Consciousness
Examining the Temporal States of Focus
There is a state of mind that everyone is familiar with known is "Being in the Moment" or "Being in the Zone" In positive psychology, this is called a Flow State of consciousness.
Consciousness is dimensional in nature, and present in all matter. At a basic level, the awareness of the first three dimensions of space are the most fundamental, which we tend to take for granted and treat as a singular entity (3D Matter - Height, Width, Depth) The conscious expansion into these dimensions, and control over matter is a fundamental growth of consciousness. The 4th Dimension of Time is a promotion up from the 3rd and encompasses an infinite continuum of states of the 3D material world.
Control Your Conscious Focus
Our "Human Consciousness" is generally focused on these four dimensions of space and time. Often we end up spending much of our consciousness focused on the past - mulling over past events of the day, the week, or longer periods. Some people get "stuck in a moment" and focused on revisiting and reanalyzing that moment, or a series of events that they regret, or admire. Other people may choose to spend as much time focusing on the near future, or even visualizing far future events (possible states of the 3D world and the person's activities that may create causal actions to change the future)
Athletes and musicians and people with highly creative occupations may spend more of their conscious focus on the "flow of the now". In this state, the whole of the person's consciousness is focused on the moment of the now, and perhaps the very near future, measures in just seconds or milliseconds, when considering athletes and musicians that must exhibit extreme temporal dexterity.
